Our Work

Purchasing Livestock

Our initial purchases of livestock included cows and bulls which were used to plough their fields and get milk. The exorbitant purchase and veterinary costs forced us to change our strategy and purchase smaller and easier to maintain goats.  Furthermore, the lower costs allows us to purchase more goats and empower the NS families to raise them for personal consumption and to generate revenue.

Outreach Program

The outreach team, Samuel Amet and Emmanuel Nono, purchase basic staples such as beans, posho (millet flour), fish, soap and sugar on a bi-weekly basis depending on the availability of funds.  They carry this food on their bikes and transport it to remote villages and deliver it to the most vulnerable Nodding Syndrome families.
